Cookies, cups and grams

  

    We learned how to convert grams to cups. measuring by grams is more accurate, But cups are easier for more "hands on" activities. Like when doing an experiment with kids, or baking with friends. 

    I challenge you to do an experiment.

Make one batch of cookies measuring with grams, and then another one using cups. Comment on the one that tastes the best! cya

    I wish I could try! I am on a diet now, too many delicious cookies over the past 40 years. In Canada we use grams for everything except ice cream and babies (ice cream is sold by the gallon, and babies are always XX pounds, XX ounces)

    That is a great challenge! I usually try to convert from grams to cups and get “close enough” to the right measurement. I wonder if I could tell the difference if I measured by grams?

    That's a good idea! I'll have to have my kids try that as a project. I usually like to weigh my ingredients.
