Table making by Aya

Hi everyone!Today we made our paper tables. As you may know, we can have eight peices of paper, a peice of cardboard and tape. Rules: 1: the table must be eight inches long. 2: the table legs must be made out of paper. 3: it must carry a heavy book for five seconds and after that it has to hold an even heavier book and then both of them together. If your table works, you win! My mom gave us two extra peices of paper, so we made the table legs out af three peices of paper. We made three legs so we could have an even amount of paper. With the extra peice of paper, we stuffed it into the table legs. A few times we had to make imrovements, but in the end, it worked out. Some of the problems were buckling, and tilting. We solved these problems by stuffing the table legs with paper and stablizing the legs with more tape. Bye!

  1. Hi Aya! I appreciate you sharing with us which problems you faced and how you addressed them, because I'd like to try this very same project and now I know what to look out for and how to prepare. Thank you!

  2. I didn’t think about how you could fill the legs, that’s a great idea! How did you make sure the legs were evenly apart?
