Beautiiful plumeria by Hamza and Mo'men
The plumeria is a plant that likes more areas such as Mexico, Central America, South America, Hawaii, and the Caribbean.
There are eleven different kinds of Plumeria. Most of them look different from each other.
In the summer they lose their leave but they are not dead. Make sure to drain their pots well and put pumice stones to help with drainage. Put special pads under the drainage holes so flies and mosquitos don't come in.
Next week: we will make a model of a plumeria garden. Mo'men will make his out of play dough and Hamza will make his out of snap cubes.
Great post about that awesome flower
ReplyDeleteThanks mo'men and hamza
Plumeria is such a beautiful flower. Do you know what they call it in Egypt? Indian Jasmine, which is funny because your post said that grows natively in Central and South America...not India.
ReplyDeleteI love plumeria. My favorite one is white & yellow. Something really cool about the plant is that you can cut off a piece and stick it into soil. Keep it watered and the cutting will grow roots. It's like magic!
